Prevalence of the Predisposing Gene for Uveal Melanoma

What is the risk among carriers of the germline pathogenic variant of developing uveal melanoma?This case series involving 896 individuals with the germline pathogenic variant found an approximately 31-fold increased risk of developing uveal melanoma compared with the general population.These findings suggest that is an important gene for uveal melanoma predisposition in the French population.
