Transradial vs Transfemoral Access for Cerebral Angiography

Is transradial access (TRA) noninferior to transfemoral access (TFA) in efficacy and safety for diagnostic cerebral angiography?In this randomized clinical trial including 858 patients, the success rate for accuracy in diagnostic cerebral angiography was lower in the TRA group (91%) compared with the TFA group (96%) and did not meet the prespecified noninferiority margin.TRA was not noninferior to TFA for diagnostic cerebral angiography.
