Can a combined high-intensity circuit training (HICT) and sleep health (SH) intervention provide greater benefits for improving sleep than either intervention alone? In this randomized clinical trial involving 112 sedentary women aged 18 to 30 years with poor sleep health, an 8-week combined HICT and SH intervention led to greater improvements in sleep efficiency, wake after sleep onset, and activity counts during sleep compared with either intervention alone. The results indicate that combining exercise and sleep interventions may produce synergistic effects, leading to greater improvements in sleep outcomes than either intervention alone.
