Is interventional treatment for unruptured brain arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) associated with improved hemorrhage-free survival compared with conservative management? In this cohort study that included 1770 patients with unruptured AVMs, interventional treatment was associated with significantly higher estimated hemorrhage-free survival at 5 years (96% vs 89%) and 10 years (84% vs 76%) compared with conservative management. These findings suggest that interventional treatment may reduce long-term hemorrhage risk in patients with unruptured AVMs.
