Are social, economic, and geographic factors associated with co-occurring health behaviors measured by the American Cancer Society Guideline Score for Diet and Physical Activity for Cancer Prevention? In this cross-sectional study of 142 085 US adults, participants who identified as Asian, female, had higher socioeconomic statuses, resided in non–food desert metropolitan areas, had no secondhand smoke exposure, or were retired were more likely to engage in healthy co-occurring behaviors, including diet, physical activity, limited alcohol consumption, and a healthy body weight. These findings suggest that demographic, socioeconomic, and geographical factors are associated with health behaviors and present opportunities for improving health equity.
