Can tailored or general digital emotion regulation interventions improve psychosocial outcomes among adults with congenital heart disease (CHD)?In this randomized clinical trial of 524 adults with CHD, a tailored digital intervention reduced emotion regulation difficulties vs usual care at postintervention and at follow-up and produced broader psychosocial gains at both assessments. A general digital intervention showed narrower benefits, differing from usual care primarily at follow-up.These findings suggest that digital interventions have the potential to meet the mental health needs of individuals with CHD.
