What are longitudinal digital wearable biometric measures and trajectory patterns in participants with postacute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection (or long COVID) enrolled in a randomized clinical trial? In this substudy of a randomized clinical trial involving 50 participants, distinct longitudinal trajectories of digital biometric measures for long COVID were identified, including physical activity and heart rate. The findings suggest that physiological and behavioral biometric measures from wearable devices are promising digital biomarkers for use in long COVID clinical trials and research.
