Among brick-and-mortar businesses offering compounded glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1 RA) products after semaglutide and tirzepatide shortages, what products are offered, what types of care and monitoring are provided for patients using them, and which compounding facilities supply them?In this cross-sectional study of 75 businesses in 2 US states, 7 reported offering oral formulations and 42 reported offering GLP-1 RAs combined with B vitamins. Twenty-three compounding suppliers were identified, of which 4 lacked sterile compounding licenses and 4 had been subject to disciplinary action. The compounded GLP-1 RA market remains robust, with diverse sourcing, posing complex clinical and regulatory challenges.
