Cochlear Implant Candidacy Support Tool Using Conjunctive Consolidation

Can conjunctive consolidation enable a 4-level audiometric staging system that stratifies cochlear implant candidacy probability, moving beyond binary (yes/no) classification?In this retrospective cohort study including 1312 patients, the risk stratification system allowed a clinically intuitive framework that supported personalized counseling and shared decision-making.By combining pure tone average and word recognition scores, the staging system demonstrated strong discriminative performance using routinely available audiometric data.
