How has the hearing health care professional workforce changed over time, and where do shortages exist?This quality improvement study shows that from 2012 to 2022, the number of hearing health care professionals in the US increased by more than 83%; however, 75% of US counties are identified as shortage counties.Despite hearing health care workforce growth, many areas of the US continue to experience shortages of hearing health care professionals.
