Can a Vitreous Floaters Functional Questionnaire (VFFQ) quantify the association between floaters and visual quality of life among individuals with vision-degrading myodesopsia, and does the VFFQ score correlate with vitreous echodensity or contrast sensitivity in patients with floaters? In this cross-sectional study, Rasch analysis in 169 participants eliminated 8 questions, resulting in a 23-item VFFQ that in 224 additional participants correlated with vitreous echodensity and contrast sensitivity.Correlation of the VFFQ score with vitreous structure and visual function supports its potential usefulness for patients with vitreous floaters.
