What percentage of total energy intake among Korean youths came from ultraprocessed foods between 2007 and 2024?In this cross-sectional study of 24 518 Korean youths aged 1 to 18 years, the estimated percentage of energy intake from ultraprocessed foods increased from 25% to 33%, while that from unprocessed or minimally processed foods decreased from 65% to 52%.These findings suggest the need for monitoring and preventive strategies to reduce intake of ultraprocessed foods among Korean youths.
