Mild Traumatic Brain Injury and Subsequent Musculoskeletal Injury in US Service Members

Is mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) associated with a greater hazard of subsequent musculoskeletal injury (MSKI) among US service members?In this cohort study of 26 784 service members, mTBI was associated with a 2.24 times greater hazard of MSKI compared with no mTBI.These findings highlight the importance of focusing on MSKI risk following an mTBI event in US service members.
