Are the clinical outcomes of dapagliflozin and empagliflozin comparable among patients with heart failure (HF) across the full spectrum of ejection fraction in a multicenter clinical setting? In this cohort study of 4930 patients with HF, dapagliflozin and empagliflozin showed no significant difference in the composite outcome of cardiovascular death or HF hospitalization, regardless of left ventricular ejection fraction, over a 16-month follow-up period. These findings suggest that dapagliflozin and empagliflozin offer comparable effectiveness in the management of HF in routine clinical practice; further research is necessary to validate these findings.
