Is a history of urinary tract stones associated with survival outcomes among patients with upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC)?In this cohort study of 3414 patients with UTUC, a history of urinary stones was associated with significantly worse cancer-specific survival and disease-free survival, even after adjusting for confounders using overlap weighting. These findings suggest that patients with UTUC and stone history may represent a high-risk subgroup requiring intensified surveillance and potentially tailored adjuvant therapy.
