Local Flavored Tobacco Bans and Youth Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems Use

Are local flavored tobacco bans associated with the use of electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) and cigarettes among middle school and high school students in California?In this cross-sectional study of survey responses from 2 805 708 middle school and high school students, local flavored tobacco bans were associated with reduced ENDS use among youth over time.Results of this study suggest that adoption of flavored tobacco bans may have utility in broader policy implementation.
