Safety and Efficacy of ICP-332 for Moderate to Severe Atopic Dermatitis

Is ICP-332, a tyrosine kinase 2 inhibitor, safe and effective for treating moderate to severe atopic dermatitis?In this randomized clinical trial of 75 patients taking ICP-332 for atopic dermatitis, most adverse events were mild, and no serious adverse events or deaths were reported. Mean differences vs placebo for percentage reductions from baseline at week 4 in Eczema Area and Severity Index were −61.6% and −55.8% for 80-mg ICP-332 and 120-mg ICP-332, respectively.Once-daily oral ICP-332 showed a favorable safety profile and meaningful efficacy in the treatment of atopic dermatitis.
