Nicotinamide for Skin Cancer Chemoprevention

Does nicotinamide supplementation prevent skin cancer development?In this retrospective study of 33 822 veterans, there was a decreased risk of 3 types of skin cancer associated with use of nicotinamide. The magnitude of reduction was associated with the number of skin cancers before nicotinamide use.The results of this study suggest that use of nicotinamide is associated with a reduced risk of skin cancer development.
