Pulmonary Vein Isolation Using Pulsed Field Ablation With vs Without Posterior Wall Isolation in Patients With Symptomatic Persistent Atrial Fibrillation

In patients with persistent AF, adding PFA-based PWI to PVI did not significantly reduce atrial tachyarrhythmia recurrence lasting 30 seconds or longer compared with PVI alone. The findings for secondary end points are hypothesis generating and warrant further evaluation in a larger trial.
