Single- vs Multiple-Dose Antibiotic Prophylaxis for Total Hip Arthroplasty

In this study, a single preoperative antibiotic dose was noninferior to multiple doses for preventing PJI. These findings support efforts to minimize perioperative antibiotic exposure, although confirmation in randomized clinical trials is warranted.
