Geospatial Access to CAR-T Clinical Trials for Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma for Persons With HIV

Do persons living with HIV (PWH) have the same access to chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) clinical trials for non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) as persons without HIV?In this cross-sectional study of 80 clinical trials, PWH had to travel significantly longer to the nearest CAR-T clinical trial for NHL (1.15 vs 0.84 hours). The greatest regional difference was in the South, where PWH had to travel 1.70 hours compared with 0.92 hours for persons without HIV.These findings suggest that further efforts are needed to expand access to CAR-T clinical trials for NHL for PWH, particularly in the South.
