124I-Evuzamitide Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography for Diagnosing Cardiac Amyloidosis

Is 124I-evuzamitide positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) a sensitive and specific tool for diagnosing cardiac amyloidosis? In this open-label, single-group, clinical trial that included 170 patients, 124I-evuzamitide PET/CT demonstrated a sensitivity of 94% and specificity of 86% for diagnosing cardiac amyloidosis. 124I-evuzamitide PET/CT may be a useful diagnostic test for evaluating patients with suspected cardiac amyloidosis.
