Revision of the Declaration of Helsinki
JAMA has published the revised Declaration of Helsinki, two related Viewpoints, and an audio interview to coincide with the release of the 7th revision of the declaration by the World Medical Association. The materials can be found at http://jama.jamanetwork.com/journal.aspx.
The Declaration of Helsinki is a statement of ethical principles for medical research involving human subjects, including research on identifiable human material and data. It is addressed primarily to physicians, but others who are involved in medical research involving human subjects are encouraged to adopt its principles.
